PGT Trucking Acquires Second-Generation Family-Owned Transportation Business in Kansas
PGT Trucking announced the acquisition of Debrick Truck Line Co., a Kansas family business, with the deal revealed on December 9. This acquisition adds a strategic Midwest terminal for PGT, bringing its total network to 35. Debrick Truck Line, a second-generation family business founded in 1958, offers flatbed, dry van, step deck, and tarping services. Following the acquisition, Kevin Debrick will continue as terminal manager in Paola.
PGT Trucking has acquired family-owned Debrick Truck Line Co., a flatbed carrier based in western Pennsylvania, the company announced on December 9.
The acquisition brings Debrick Truck Line, headquartered in Paola, Kansas, under its wing, expanding PGT's terminal network to 35 locations across the U.S. and Mexico and securing a strategic position in the Midwest.
According to records in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) database, as of April 2, Debrick Truck Line had 30 power units and corresponding drivers.
This second-generation family business, deeply rooted in the Kansas City area, offers flatbed, dry van, step deck, and conestoga transportation options, along with other hauling services.
This perfectly complements PGT's existing service portfolio, which also includes dedicated transportation, project cargo, specialized hauling, and tanker operations.
According to company history, Arnold and Lorene Debrick founded the business in 1958, initially to haul water.
The Debrick family will remain connected to the business, with Kevin Debrick serving as terminal manager for PGT Trucking in Paola.
